I am a master's degree student investigating hierarchical temporal processing of human language and music.

My background is in psychology, neuroscience, and music, with hands-on research experience in auditory neuroscience and music cognition labs at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) and Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). My undergraduate honors thesis focused on rhythm skills, prosody (lexical stress) sensitivity, and speech-in-noise recognition in older adults.

I'm also a professional musician and music educator with over 15 years of experience.
